Office Cleaner / Attendant (Malta based candidates only)

Our client is currently looking for a reliable and organized Office Cleaner / Attendant to help maintain a clean, hygienic and well presented working environment at its premises in Luqa, Malta. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of office facilities, ensuring that workspaces and shared areas remain clean and presentable.

The role also includes monitoring essential supplies, managing waste disposal and providing assistance to other departments when required. Recruiting applicants already residing in Malta.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled cleaning of offices, workspaces, corridors, restrooms and communal facilities. Ensure waste is collected and disposed of correctly, separating recyclable materials from general waste. Monitor stock levels of cleaning products, refreshments and other necessary supplies, arranging replenishment when needed.

Identify and report any items requiring repair, maintenance or replacement while performing daily duties. Support other departments as required, helping provide a clean and welcoming environment for visitors. Undertake additional duties relevant to the position in line with the operational needs of the business.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role. School leaving certificate. Good attention to detail. Flexibility and adaptability. Good interpersonal skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of health and safety requirements, including the safe use and handling of cleaning chemicals. Ability to work collaboratively with others while also taking initiative and completing tasks independently.
