SAP Basis Consultant

Summary We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS Consultant to lead critical infrastructure initiatives within our IT Services division. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our enterprise SAP landscape, with a specific emphasis on modernizing our environment through S/4HANA and cloud migration strategies.

The successful candidate will serve as a technical authority, driving complex database and operating system migrations while maintaining robust system monitoring and troubleshooting protocols to support seamless business operations.

Responsibilities

Architect and execute comprehensive SAP S/4HANA BASIS implementations and upgrades. Manage the end-to-end migration of SAP HANA databases and associated storage architectures. Lead OS and DB migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime during transitions. Oversee the migration of SAP landscapes to major cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.

Perform continuous system monitoring, performance tuning, and proactive issue resolution to maintain high availability. Utilize specialized expertise in On. Rise migration tools to facilitate smooth transitions for legacy systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business requirements.

Requirements

Possess a minimum of four years of hands-on experience specifically in SAP BASIS administration. Demonstrate proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA BASIS operations and configuration. Show deep proficiency in managing SAP HANA databases. Have a strong track record of executing OS and DB migration projects. Be experienced in planning and executing cloud migrations to AWS or Azure environments.

Hold mandatory, verifiable experience with On. Rise migration methodologies. Exhibit advanced skills in system monitoring, diagnostic analysis, and technical troubleshooting.
