Experienced Veterinary Technician 📍 Clearwater, FL 🕐 Full-Time | Rotating Saturdays All Pet Care is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our full-service small animal hospital in Clearwater. We primarily see dogs and cats, with occasional exotics, rabbits, and pocket pets. This is a great opportunity for a motivated technician who enjoys hands-on patient care and working in a supportive, team-focused environment.
Technicians are compensated based on experience. What You’ll Do Restrain patients and assist in exams Prepare vaccines and fill medications Take radiographs Assist in surgical procedures and dental cleanings Support anesthesia monitoring and patient care Communicate with clients and enter charges accurately Maintain cleanliness, safety, and patient care standards Assist with client callbacks and follow-up communication Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment Our Ideal Candidate Is a “people person,” friendly, organized, and professional Can multi-task while maintaining enthusiasm and exceptional client care Has a minimum of 6 months experience in a veterinary clinic Is comfortable staying later than scheduled when needed to help pets or complete callbacks Helps maintain a positive culture and work environment Takes constructive criticism well and is open to feedback Has a strong desire to learn more about veterinary medicine and pet care Is open to mentorship and professional development for future growth Must be able to work rotating weekend shifts Is dependable, adaptable, and calm in a fast-paced environment Works well both independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds Perks & Benefits Competitive compensation + Monthly bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Mental health support with 24/7 access Generous PTO, paid parental leave, and holiday pay Annual scrub allowance Free RACE-approved CE platform 401(k) with employer match Team-based incentive programs Employee pet care discounts + pet insurance discounts Career growth and internal mobility within the CVP network Ready for Your Next Step?
