Now Developer to join our team supporting federal government clients. This role is ideal for a Service. Now professional with solid hands-on development and configuration experience who is looking to contribute to meaningful, mission-focused solutions. The ideal candidate has experience with Service. Now scripting, workflows, integrations, and module configuration and is comfortable working collaboratively with senior developers, architects, analysts, and client stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Job Functions Develop, configure, and maintain Service. Now solutions across one or more modules, such as ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, CMDB, or custom applications. Translate functional and technical requirements into effective Service. Now configurations and custom development. Develop and maintain Service. Now scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and related platform components.
Configure workflows, forms, fields, notifications, reports, and other Service. Now functionality based on business requirements. Develop and support integrations between Service. Now and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other integration methods. Collaborate with senior developers, architects, business analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Participate in unit testing, system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable and maintainable solutions. Identify and resolve technical issues and recommend improvements to existing Service. Now functionality and processes. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Create and maintain technical documentation related to configurations, development, integrations, and system processes. Follow established development standards, security requirements, and Service. Now best practices. Support platform enhancements, upgrades, deployments, and ongoing maintenance activities. Stay current with Service.
Now platform capabilities and contribute ideas for process automation and platform improvements. Skills and Abilities Hands-on experience with Service. Now development and configuration, including scripting and application customization. Working knowledge of one or more Service. Now modules, such as ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, CMDB, or Sec.
Ops. Proficiency with Service. Now scripting, including JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions. Experience configuring workflows, forms, fields, notifications, reports, and other Service. Now platform functionality. Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into practical Service.
Now solutions. Experience developing or supporting integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, or other integration frameworks. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working as part of a collaborative development team. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze problems, and develop maintainable solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work within established development standards, security requirements, and federal client environments. Familiarity with federal compliance and security requirements, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53, is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Education
& Certifications U.S. Citizenship is required. Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one. Service. Now Certified Application Developer preferred. ITIL Foundation certification preferred. Service. Now Implementation Specialist certification is a plus. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science , or a related field preferred.
Experience 3+ years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of an ITSM platform. 2+ years of hands-on Service. Now development experience , including scripting, configuration, customization, testing, and deployment. Experience developing on the Service. Now platform, including creating and/or customizing applications and platform functionality.
3+ years of experience working with one or more programming or scripting languages, preferably JavaScript. Experience developing or supporting Service. Now integrations using REST/SOAP APIs or similar technologies. Experience creating technical documentation and maintaining development and configuration documentation.
Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred. Federal government or government contracting experience is preferred.
