About Local Station Local Station is a contemporary Southern kitchen and bar rooted in the flavors of Northeast Georgia. We serve seasonal, locally inspired food and handcrafted cocktails in a warm, upscale casual setting. We are part of Jack’s Brand Restaurant Group, a family-owned hospitality company with five concepts across the region.

The Opportunity The host stand is the first impression — and at Local Station, we take that seriously. We’re looking for a Host or Hostess who is warm, composed, and genuinely excited to welcome guests from the moment they walk through the door. You don’t need a long resume, but you do need to bring a great attitude, a professional presence, and the ability to stay organized when things get busy.

What You’ll Do Greet and welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism Manage the waitlist and reservation system, communicating accurate wait times Seat guests efficiently while supporting service flow and section balance Answer incoming calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entry area Communicate clearly with servers and management throughout service Assist with light tasks during slower periods to support the team What We’re Looking For Prior experience in a front-of-house, retail, or customer-facing role preferred A warm, polished demeanor and genuine enjoyment of working with people Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask calmly under pressure Clear, professional communication — in person and over the phone Reliable, punctual, and committed to representing the restaurant well Comfortable with reservation software; experience with Resy is a plus Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Compensation Pay: $12 – $14 per hour, based on experience

Strong communication and people skills; Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure; Professional appearance and demeanor; Previous experience is a plus but not required; Experience with Restaurant Management Systems
