Insurance Sales

Principal responsibilities

• Work closely with designated Relationship Managers and branch teams to identify insurance sales opportunities and achieve business targets.
• Develop and execute sales initiatives to strengthen insurance penetration among affluent banking customers.
• Promote a needs-based financial planning approach and support the delivery of suitable insurance solutions.
• Provide product knowledge sharing, sales guidance and coaching to frontline banking staff to enhance their insurance cross-selling capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement sales campaigns, improve customer engagement and drive overall business performance.
• Ensure all insurance sales activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements and established risk management standards.
• Foster a customer-focused, collaborative and compliance-conscious sales environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in insurance sales, preferably within the banking, wealth management or financial services industry.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP or CFMP would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, financial planning and the needs of affluent customers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and support frontline sales teams.
• Results-driven, self-motivated and capable of working independently in a target-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with adaptability to changing business priorities.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering quality financial services.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• ECF certification or Certified Banker (CB) qualification issued by HKIB would be an advantage.
