Service Technician (Giambalvo Hyundai of Hanover)

The Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Service Technician to join our Giambalvo Hyundai of Hanover team! What You’ll Do: As a Service Technician, you’ll perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Receive repair orders and perform work as outlined in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform necessary repairs and maintenance Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed components Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs and report findings to the service advisor Accurately document all work performed Road-test vehicles as needed to verify repairs Stay up to date on Hyundai systems, tools, and factory technical bulletins Attend manufacturer training and continue developing technical skills Assist in supervising and supporting apprentice technicians as assigned Maintain cleanliness and care of customer vehicles Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials What You Bring to the Table: Previous automotive service technician experience preferred Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills ASE certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Ability to read and interpret repair instructions and technical information High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Team-oriented mindset with a solid work ethic Manual dexterity and sound judgment High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license with a good driving record Why Join Giambalvo Hyundai of Hanover?
