Position: Qualified Baker (2 × Full-Time Positions) Location: Springfield, Queensland, Australia Role Overview: We have two full-time qualified baker positions available at our Springfield bakery. In this role, you will produce a range of freshly baked breads and pastry items to our high quality standards. You’re expected to work with a passion for baking, maintain hygiene standards and help ensure smooth operations of daily bakery production.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a wide variety of bread products including loaves, rolls and specialty breads in accordance with established recipes and production schedules. Measure, weigh and mix ingredients to form dough and batters using commercial bakery equipment and manual techniques. Knead, cut, mould and shape dough prior to baking, ensuring consistency in size, texture and appearance of finished products.
Operate and monitor bakery equipment such as mixers, dough dividers, moulders and ovens while adjusting baking times and temperatures as required. Apply glazes, toppings and finishes to baked goods to achieve the required presentation and quality standards.
Requirements
Relevant baking qualification or at least two years of relevant industry experience in a commercial or retail bakery. Demonstrated knowledge of bread production processes including dough preparation, fermentation, proofing and baking. Ability to work early morning shifts and manage production schedules effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
