Marketing/Recruiting Internship

Metro Pavers, Inc. a local, family owned and operated paving company that has been in business since 1966. We have an opportunity for a student to earn experience in Marketing, Recruiting, and Sales. This is a paid Internship for the spring semester. Hours are flexible around your class schedule. Wage: $19.00/hour Primary responsibilities will be marketing and building our Ready Mix Retail business, recruitment of new employees, and managing our social media.

It also will include creating our monthly newsletter and updating our website, as needed. A complete job description is available upon request and will be provided at the interview. This position will have a mid-January start date, flexible around the start of the Spring Semester and will run through the Spring Semester with the possibility of being extended through summer.

This is a part-time, on site position. There will be minimal travel to participate in job fairs in the corridor area as well as going to job sites to capture drone footage and photos of job progress. Key Qualifications and Education Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment Ability to effectively market our brand, recruitment requirements within a virtual and non-virtual space Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience with operating a drone. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Human Resources or Marketing Degree.
