Accounting Intern

Metro Pavers, Inc. is a local, family owned and operated paving company that has been in business since 1966. We are a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Intern. This internship opportunity is a paid position, ideal for college students looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of accounting.

As an Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our accounting team and assist with various tasks related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general bookkeeping. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounting Intern. You will be exposed to various aspects of accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the field. Qualifications

and Education Requirements Currently pursuing a college degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Familiarity with basic accounting procedures is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software. Strong attention to detail and aptitude for numbers. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination and drug screening. Must pass a background check. Accountable for adhering to all safety regulations outlined in the company and regulatory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as applicable.
