Job description
We are seeking, on behalf of our client, a (Full-Stack Engineer).
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services (APIs, auth, rate limiting, background jobs). Build and enhance the internal admin tool (dispatcher console, driver onboarding, wallet management). Design and optimize data models in PostgreSQL/PostGIS. Integrate with SMS, OTP, push notifications, and payment systems. Collaborate on API contracts and real-time features with the mobile engineer.
Support deployments, observability, and on-call operations.
Requirements
5+ years of production engineering experience across backend and frontend. Strong skills in APIs, data modeling, relational databases, and modern web frameworks. Experience with deployments, Docker, and observability tools. Comfortable with shifting scope and working in a small, fast-moving team. Working English; Arabic is a strong plus.
Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and realtime systems (Ably, WebSockets). Background in marketplaces, ledger systems, or money flows. Strong testing instincts and operational experience.
