Business Development Executive (Upwork)

WE ARE HIRING | BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE Company: DigiMantra Location: Mohali | On-site Experience: 1.5–3 Years Position: Business Development Executive About the Role: DigiMantra is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Business Development, good communication skills, and a basic understanding of IT services.

This role is suitable for candidates who are interested in building their career in IT Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and identify new business leads through multiple channels. Generate leads through freelancing and bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and similar platforms. Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and connect with potential clients. Conduct cold calling to generate and qualify business leads. Perform email outreach and follow up with prospective clients.

Understand client requirements and identify suitable IT service solutions. Initiate conversations with potential clients and maintain regular follow-ups. Maintain and update the lead/prospect pipeline. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients. Coordinate with internal teams to understand and communicate IT service offerings.

Support the sales process from lead generation to client conversion.

Required Skills

& Qualifications: 1.5–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related role. Good understanding of the BDE/Business Development role and sales process. Sound knowledge of IT services, preferably Web Development and Mobile App Development. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good understanding of lead generation and prospecting.

Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred. Knowledge of freelancing/bidding platforms such as Upwork and Freelancer is preferred. Willingness to work on cold calling and email outreach. Strong follow-up, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Positive attitude with a strong learning mindset and willingness to grow.
