A private family based in Jeddah is seeking a UK or European-trained physiotherapist with a sports profile for a permanent, live-in appointment. Family members range from keen sportspeople to older relatives who want to stay mobile and steady. The work blends active mobility, proprioception and balance training with breathing and core control.

Manual skills matter: soft tissue release, joint mobilisation and assisted stretching are part of most days. You will use movement analysis, biomechanical assessment and corrective exercise to prevent injury rather than treat it later. Neuromuscular techniques for movement control round out the brief; strength and conditioning is a lesser part.

Requirements

Physiotherapy qualification from the UK or Europe, with current registration in your country of training. Sports or MSK experience, ideally including injury prevention and balance work. Comfortable adapting programmes for very different people within one household. Ready to start within about six weeks, relocate alone and travel with the family whenever required.

Fluent English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage. Strict discretion under an NDA. Eligibility rests on where you trained, not your nationality.

Benefits

From £60,000 a year gross, depending on experience. Accommodation in or next to the residence, at no cost to you. Flights and travel are always paid for by the family. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
