Private Physician — Long-Term Family Appointment — Doha

A private family in Doha has opened a permanent private physician post. The post is not tied to Doha: Lake Como is part of the calendar, and so is clinical cover there, often with your own judgement. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies; it does not employ, because a long-term family appointment leaves little room for doubt.

The employment relationship is yours and the family's alone, with your own judgement defined on paper.

Requirements

You are a fully qualified family medicine physician (GP) with current registration in the UK or Europe, able to hold autonomous decision-making. You should have worked no fewer than 3 years since qualifying, enough to carry independent judgement. We place private physicians whose training and registration belong to the UK or European systems.

Excellent spoken and written English is expected; the family expects confidentiality and discretion from the first day, for the benefit of both sides. Registration, references and training history are checked by us first, which matters most when the post carries your own judgement. Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.

Benefits

£218,000 a year gross. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Free accommodation provided by the family. Medical insurance covered. Professional indemnity insurance is not included; the clinician arranges their own cover.

You sign with the family itself, never with us, with independent judgement defined on paper. Flights and travel are always paid for by the family. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
