30hop Restaurant & Bar in Merriam, KS is hiring Hosts to join our front of house team. We’re looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy connecting with Guests and working as part of a busy restaurant team. As a Host at 30hop, you’ll help set the tone for each Guest’s visit by providing a welcoming first impression, managing the flow of the dining room, and supporting the front of house team throughout service.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day. After completing training, Hosts earn $10 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning.

Schedule Part-time opportunities available Wednesday morning availability required Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening availability required Part-Time Benefits 50% off employee meals during scheduled shifts 25% dining discount for you and up to seven guests at your home restaurant Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering up to six free confidential counseling sessions per concern Additional dining discounts at participating Craft Concepts restaurants (Sunday-Thursday, after 60 days of employment) Employee appreciation events and celebrations Opportunities for internal growth and advancement Responsibilities Welcome Guests and create a friendly first impression Manage the waitlist, provide accurate wait-time estimates, and seat Guests efficiently Communicate with Servers and other team members about seating and Guest needs Answer phone calls and assist with Guest questions, reservations, and to-go orders Keep the host stand, entryway, and other Guest-facing areas clean and organized Assist with resetting tables and preparing the dining room for incoming Guests Support food running and other front of house responsibilities as needed Work with teammates to keep service moving during busy periods Assist with opening and closing responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications Must be 16 years of age or older Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful but not required Friendly and professional communication skills Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant Guest-focused attitude and willingness to help Ability to work well as part of a team *30hop Restaurant & Bar is an Equal Opportunity Employer
